Wet the fur completely Use lukewarm water and make sure the coat is soaked all the way down to the skin before you start.

Put the shampoo on Take a good amount and spread it across the coat starting from the neck and going all the way to the tail. Pay extra attention to the belly, legs, and neck area where ticks often hide.
